Could be worst. But what's that sign on the buildings ? A brand ? And where's this supposed to take place ? Thanks !

Chongqing, China.
I think the sign is that of China Telecom.

Those long ramps remind me of a concrete/gravel plant.

I like the actual building. That ramp and the smaller building are just horrible, but if it's part of the general building my opinion is questionable.

Whatever it is, I don't see it.

Try that (http://www.cqsqjw.gov.cn/asp/bbs/uploadImages/2003512225537583.jpg). It might work better.

I only managed to see a third of it, but I can tell it's pretty gross. I suppose they don't realize how pathetically provincial it will make the city look.

Actually, it reminds me more of Reuters than anything.

But the base is closer to Libeskind's plan.

But there's also the LED cylinder at street level, not unlike Condé Nast.

According to a recent issue of BusinessWeek, the Chinese government wants to make Chongqing the Chicago to Shanghai's New York--essentially, if Shanghai is to be China's financial capital, then Chongqing is to be its logistics and mercantile center. *They've already been granted $200 million to jump-start the redevelopment. *Among the projects currently being discussed is (surprise, surprise) the world's tallest building.

They already failed to build the world's tallest building in Chongqing eight years ago. I doubt they'll succeed this time.
