How did you find this site? I found this site like 2001, when I was looking for websites on New York buildings and stumbled upon this site. At the time, Wired New York did not have its own domain, which it now has.

I found this site by searching for something to do with NYC, but I can't remember what. * Whatever it was, I'm forever grateful, especially when I think about all the wonderful things I would have missed out on post-crash. Hip hip hooray to Edward.

I suppose I was searching for some NY info. It was still part of a larger site (petergof.com).

I was searching for a message board on Fort Jay, where I was stationed as a draftee back in 1961-63. *This appears to be a very nice board. *Glad I found it! My heart is in New York although I live across the country.

Sincerely,

ShowBiz

Well, indirectly. I started reading the skyscraperpage.com forums during my search for WTC photos after 9/11, *and before they upgraded their site was really slow some days. One day I just got frustrated and followed some links they had to other forums, one of which led here :)

To bad those links don't seem to be on their forum anymore.

I started checking out this site via Google. *It hits pretty high on the list if you just search for "New York Architecture." *That was just a month or two before the whole thing bombed out, if anyone here was there for that...

same as several others, found it in google one day looking for a good site about new york and skyscrapers. New York's the best city in the world, glad i found it, it's a great site.

Also, when i joined the forum a few months ago i seemed to start things off on the wrong foot. I just want to say sorry to anyone i may have annoyed or angered........i can just be a dumb teenager sometimes i guess.

Thanks.

was looking for infos about NY, and maybe some newyorkers to chat with as I'm planing a trip to NY next year. but, for now, I'm not chatting a lot, seems to be a little bit hard to me wich is too bad, really toooo bad because, sometime, you have very, very interesting subjects and I would love to share some ideas with you.
but even if I don't post a lot for now, I love reading your posts and I read them everyday. should I say I already am addicted to this forum ? LOL

anyway, glad I found it :D

I think I found it through SkyscraperPage. I think it was Kris (not sure if it was our "Kris") who had a signature that had something like cafe's des WiredNewYork.com. I checked it out and never left. I'm another addicted one.
