Hey people just wanted to know about all of your webpages. I'm starting a website and I'd like to know what should go into it and what shouldn't. By the way it's a website about skyscrapers. Thanks:)

Mine: http://www.geocities.com/brooklyn_rise - also on skyscrapers

I also have 2 journal sites

Put whatever you feel will make it an attractive place to visit, and what you can afford (if you go for a pay site)

Search around for examples, but it's best to have your webpage reflect your personality.

For technical help on web design, there are many tutorials on the net. Just an example:

I don't have a website up yet, but I'm in the works of one called "The World Trade Center Modeling Project." It's the fourth installment from my web-based GTCA, Inc. production enterprise.

The World Trade Center Modeling Project won't be open for at least another month or so. My subject will be mainly a tutorial on how to build the WTC in 1:311th scale. *(Each tower being four feet four and three quarter inches tall, 8 inches square, with the entire site being sixteen square feet) It'll also feature "works-in-progress" type photos of the model as it's being built.

I'll be sure to post it once I'm finished completing the site layout and content.

For help on design, coding, and promotion of your website see SitePoint (http://www.sitepoint.com).

Regarding the content, you have to offer your visitors something unique, the reason to come to your site and not to other skyscraper site.
