This is the proposed John Boyd tower in Sydney,

Theres ony two renderings out at the moment and there basically from the same angle so I cant really tell what its actually like.

This tower's planned design has changed more than I do my........LOL :wink: .
The developers don't know if they want it to be an office tower,
a hotel, an apartment building or a mixed-use building.
Wherever the market takes them I guess.

The advertisment is very positive. "Soon to be built". I wish more proposals in NYC would be like that.

Yeah, Its so definate. Unlike NY which is quite vague most of the time.

Oh well, it has been decided that John Boyd Tower will now be an apartment tower, with retail at street level and a few floors of commercial space at its base.

Height to top of roof is 558ft / 170m @ 50 floors above ground and 617 ft / 188m to the architectural feature of the grated fin.

Here are a few models of J.B.T. including how it will fit into mid-town Sydney.

Wow! it looks so dominant on this photo, sydney is in the middle of a surge!!!

Its not so bad, i actually kinda like the semi circular cheese grator at the top.
