Hey forumers,
Just a thread asking to list what you've been wearing out in your CD player (or iPod or other mp3 player) as of late. List as many or as few songs or albums as you want.
I'll go first; in no particular order:
Prince: Baby I'm A Star
Prince: Little Red Corvette
Linus Loves: Stand Back (a cover of the 1983 version by Stevie Nicks)
OutKast: Hey Ya! (natch)
OutKast: The Way You Move
Norah Jones: New York City (from the EP of the same name)
Alicia Keys: Karma
David Gray: Babylon 2
Led Zeppelin: Trampled Underfoot
Led Zeppelin: Whole Lotta Love
Ayumi Hamasaki: Surreal (Japanese pop star; huge here on campus)
Ayumi Hamasaki: Evolution (It seems that Jpop has more staying power than its American counterpart)
Do As Infinity: Fukai Mori (more Jpop)
Fleetwood Mac: Thrown Down
Stevie Nicks: Planets of the Universe - Tracy Young Club Mix (over 10 minutes of electronica nirvana; I especially like it because Tracy Young debuted this at the now-defunct Sound Factory in Manhattan)
Tori Amos: A Sorta Fairytale
Sirhan Sirhan: Suns of Ann(e) (A local group here at NYU that played at CBGB's recently as part of the Gallatone release party. Gallatone is an independent compilation of various musical groups who attend NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study)
