Hi Everyone,

I hope someone on this site can help me. I am currently looking for a new apartment 1 bedroom or studio in a new construction luxury high rise building. My only problem is I don't know what new buildings are around. My first choice would be a building just built or ready to occupy within the next month. I would like to be the first one to live in the apartment. Plus I think you get a better deal when a new building opens and there looking for tenants and I can get a lower floor which is lower rent. SO, if anyone knows new buildings in Manhattan please let me know. I know the Marc just opened but thats all I know. I will even take a new building still in construction phase.

Thanks for everyone's anticipated input!

Thanks for the web site unfortunately it only gave me older buildings. I am looking more for new high rise buildings for rent. Any other ideas or anyone know any buildings residential going up or that just went up in Manhattan?

Also try Hoboken.

They have a couple of new and refurbed modern places (Teahouse, Shipyard) that are renting right now. The rent is slightly lower than Manhattan, they are right next to the Ferry (walking distance) and also right next to a lot of schtuff.

Just look up "Hoboken Real Estate" and you will find a LOT of brokers.

Thanks to all who helped out I found some great leads with those websites. I am heading to the city Friday and was wondering if anyone had any other web sites that would help me locate new constructing buildings in Manhattan? I just want to have as many leads as possible so that I get the best deal. I don't care how long it takes me to go through them.

Thanks Again!

Your best bet would be to phone realtors and ask to see new construction buildings.

Try Nicole (http://www.wirednewyork.com/real_estate/400w55th/default.htm); Helena (http://www.wirednewyork.com/real_estate/helena/default.htm) is not going to be completed in the next month.

My advice varies depending on which part of town you want to live in. Brand new rental buildings are rare. That said, I do know a couple of lovely ones, one of them just coming online.

Please call to discuss this further and possibly see these two.
