Wired New York Webcam ---------------------------------------------
This weekend I have upgraded the webcam. The picture is better now and the broadcast is 24/7, the image is updated every 30 seconds. The webcam is located in Midtown Manhattan, on the 31st floor of Worldwide Plaza, looking west towards Hudson River and Passenger Ship Terminal.
This morning Queen Mary 2 berthed at Pier 90. See the ship live at

Four years ago, New York's Museum of Modern Art embarked on an $858 million rebuilding project. The new facility, which opens to the public this Saturday, has been widely lauded for its soaring atrium, wide-open galleries, and huge windows opening onto mid-Manhattan:

80 South Street (architect Santiago Calatrava) seems to be going ahead – 10 apartments in a building 855 feet high:

With the spire reaching 1200 feet, One Bryant Park will be built largely from recycled and recyclable materials:
