I am looking for a Manhattan hotel that would cost UNDER $100 a night for two adults. I have been on many websites and after a while I get overwhelmed and have no real idea of what would be a safe bet. That comes from reading customer reviews. I can read 5 reviews on the same hotel and each review is radically different from the other four.
I am satisfied with bare-bones rooms. Heat, private bathroom with hot water and a door that locks is all I want. And, of course a location that does not require a "commute" into the heart of Manhattan artworld.
I appreciate any assistance. I am planning to present my artwork to the galleries in Soho and environs. I have minute funds and may need to be in the city for 4 - 6 days. So, a relatively cheap place is needed. I may have to carry canvases, so the bridge and tunnel ordeal would be too traumatic for me!
I plan ahead. I'll be doing this in the early spring. Right now I am holed up, surrounded by 26 canvases! Again, thank you for your help in any way. Ken
