Anyone know of any in Time Square that has home made like things?

Times Square is mostly chain stores and restaurants; nothing exciting unless anyone is hungering for a slice of home.

You might try going for a walk to Billy's (http://www.billysbakerynyc.com/) on 9th Avenue between 21st and 22nd on the East side of the street. It's a nice walk through Chelsea in good weather, but I might take the subway if you intend to go this weekend.

The Cupcake Cafe is near Times Square, but I would advise that you leave that neighborhood as soon as possible.

However, if you want to check out the Olive Garden and Red Lobster, by all means, stay.
