I have always went to new york alone, but this time, I'll go with three friends with a suitcase each.

Which could be the best option from JFK to Manhattan, a taxi (too much luggage?), a Carmel or TelAviv minivan or a Supershuttle minivan?

A very simple question for this forum, sorry!

Take the Airtrain, it's cheaper, faster and more environmentally friendly.

Take a cab. You can split the fare three ways, and the cab will fit all of your luggage. If you take the Air Train, I think the cost per person will be about 7 dollars (5 for the train, 2 for subway/bus). So you are up to 21 bucks already. A cab should cost about 36 dollars total. If you are carrying your luggage you have to carry it on the Air Train, then down to the subway or bus, then find space for it, then haul it from the subway or bus stop to your hotel. Save all the aggravation and use the cab.

Cabs are $45 to Manhattan from JFK.

You want the minivan or shuttle with 4 of you.
