I was wondering if anyone knows of or remembers other posts similar to this one:

I really enjoyed that post (back when I visited occasionally as a guest) because it gave a small sense of day-to-day doings and partly because it was a kind of photo-tour of my favorite NY neighborhood. And the quotes from Jane Jacobs' The Death and Life of Great American Cities were so interesting that I went and bought it (have not yet started, too many school texts to read, but I look forward to it).
Anything even remotely similiar, whether it be another website or a post on this site, would be greatly appreciated.
