My plan is to go to the Culture club on Varick St and then go to one of NYC's many 24 hour
diners after the club closes. Can anyone suggest a 24hr diner around this area?
Unless I meet some friends to hang out with, my other plan is to take a cab if the place I decide on on is non walking distance.
In other words what diners are in the vicinity of the culture club, and what diners up to chelesa would youi recommend? I would not take a cab past chelese to go eat. The fare would be prohibitive.
Any suggestions for this 80's style party boy?

I think Moondance Diner is open 24 hours on weekends, and about 5 blocks southeast of Culture Club.

Maybe call those 2 places to make sure they're still open 24 hours.

Is it true that in New York City there are more 50 diners open 24/7 and more 300 delis open 24/7?

That's probably a low estimate, ILoveTheSoccer.
I like the Empire Diner on 10th and 22nd. Florent on Gansevoort is decent as well.
I have to advise against Culture Club, though. It's a really cheesy scene.
