"daSilva Architects is working in association with lead architecture firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects LLP to design a new infill building for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The five-story structure will consist of 118,000 GSF and link two existing buildings to create a new entrance on 165th Street with improved access and wayfinding, as well as additional meeting and practice space for physicians.
The new facility includes an outpatient imaging department, expansion of the invasive cardiology unit and outpatient surgery units, group practice units, a dialysis center, an ICU, a conference center, outpatient diagnostic and imaging suites, and a multistory atrium with four sky-bridge levels connecting the three buildings to create a continuous campus."
