Anybody besides me stay at The Plaza in the final days before its' closing? I could afford one night on the 26th of April. Glorious property...full of charm & history. Although we had a tiny room (facing the park mind you) you could imagine the Astor's, Guggenheim's and the like staying there. What a contrast to the "new" hotels like the mandarin Oriental...beautiful in a completely different way.
Staying in a cardboard box is great as long as it's in NYC baby!!!
