Hi Guys
Am planning on visiting NYC again next year, on my own for the first time
Been 3 times before and have always been with friends and stayed in Manhattan
Main reason for my next trip will be baseball - Yankee Fan will be spending at least some of most days in the Bronx
As I'm on my own I really need to keep the cost down, was thinking of staying in Jersey and getting the PATH into the city Or trying to find affordable accomodation actually in the Bronx - Safety obviously a concern (but should it be ??)
Your thoughts/suggestions would be most welcome
PS: Would want own bathroom etc and don't feel to comfortable with dossing down in hostels etc. Have stayed in a Motel6 this year when on the road in WI & MN, without incident and found this to be fine (May give you an idea of the level of accomodation standards required)
