Hello everybody,



Mi name is Rudy and I life in Franeker itís a little town

120 km north from Amsterdam in Holland.

Next year I want to go to New York for a vacation.

Now I want to now whatís the best period to go to New York?

and what are the prices of drinks and all the stuff..

Is there also somebody ho knows the Milford Plaza Hotel and

the Paramount Hotel both one ore near Time Square?

Late April and the month of May are the best times to visit. The weather's beautiful and things haven't slowed for the summer.

I've stayed at the Paramount and found it pleasant, stylish, funky and frightfully expensive. The rooms are small. Location is good.

At 1/3 the price, try the Hotel Beacon instead (Broadway @ 74th). Even better location: the real New York.

Late April? I went for the first time in late April, we froze to death! Its was VERY COLD.

It must have been an unusually long winter. Average high temperatures in late April are in the mid 60's, lows in the upper 40's. I do find May to be the most pleasant month in general, even though this past May was extraordinarily rainy.

Yes, weather is cooling, but not cold. Leaves are changing colors. The city's cultural attractions are at it's height. This is prime time as far as I'm concerned.

Whatís official the tourist season in New York?
What are the costís of meals and drinkís in NYC?
