This is my concept for a new World Trade & Cultural Center; three sturdy skyscrapers sharing a single base, with suspended walk ways. To see more pictures along with a streaming video that flies you in and around the entire complex for 18 minutes, go to the URL below.

I like it... Hmm even better that what has been proposed really. The skywalks are a good idea for this site. I always thought.

But is too late to draw concepts even if they are better.

Anyway Good Job.

Thanks, krulltime. I made this around two years ago during the time that the world wide design competition was happening. I never submitted it though. I posted it just for posterity. I'd like to see something built that "looks New York." It's difficult for me to capture in words exactly what that means -- does that mean a combination of "gothic" and "art deco" instead of the "ultra-modern" or "abstract, sculpture-type" designs -- I don't know. What I do know is that whatever they build there, it shouldn't look like a pile of match sticks glued together.

Nice design, it looks better than what we have now.

From this angle it looks great -- essential NYC:

Holy Gotham, Batman!!

Terrific vid, icon kid.
The geodesic dome restaurant would be fantastic.

The best proposal I've seen. By a country mile.

Get this under Pataki's nose!!

Very attractive and dignified. It's futuristic without being retro, and it complements the World Financial Center very well.

I couldn't help but notice, however, the presence of the old Seven World Trade Center in the renderings :)

Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks, TLOZ Link5, for your comments.

...complements the World Financial Center...
Hearing this especially pleases me because it was one of the main design goals I set for myself since first conceiving this project, -- so it's a confirmation for me that someone else sees some similar geometry in my design to that of the World Financial Center.

...the presence of the old Seven World Trade Center...
That's interesting.
My computer model is based on a map of the 16-acre site bounded by Church, Vesey, West and Liberty Streets. I didn't realize that one of the WTC buildings was outside of this area, as an old map shows:

I used the map to locate the former "WTC 7" in my animation -- as pointed to in the screen shot.
