Belmont.

Not really the Bronx Little Italy anymore, the majority of the population is Hispanic. In fact the community has been majority Latino since the late 70's. Only right on Arthur Avenue north of 187th is Italian. The rest is just the south Bronx. Puerto Rican basically.

The current Bronx Little Italy is Morris Park. Even that area is changing though. It was once all Italian and Irish. These days, it's begining to change. Becomeing more diverse. You see more Asians, Blacks, Latinos. Once they wouldn't be caught dead here.

Nice pictures though.

Hey,

Great pictures, thank you, brings lots of memories back. I was wondering if you have any older pictures? Is Fusco's Vegetables still on the corner of 186? I'd love to see some pictures of the Sunshine Cafe. Or perhaps the handball courts or Arthur's Ice Cream. Thanks again.
