First stop: just parking our car and getting Metrocards
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5012/dsc04161280x8516rr.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc04161280x8516rr.jpg)
Tour Montparnasse, with 210m the highest skyscraper in Paris, and the only one within the Boulevard Périférique.

Second stop: La Tour Eiffel
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/8995/dsc0420851x12808qw.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0420851x12808qw.jpg)
Maybe anyone recognizes this tower ;)

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/2841/dsc0423851x12804eg.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0423851x12804eg.jpg)
Not only NYC didn't get the games...

From the top of Le Tour Eiffel: La Défense, a bussiness district with lots of modern architecture.

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/4504/dsc04361280x8517kq.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc04361280x8517kq.jpg)
The Louvre with The Centre Pompidou in the background.

L'Arc de Triomphe at Place Charles de Gaulle.

Just some views, the street pattern in Paris is just a little bit different from NYC...

La Tour Eiffel
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/6645/dsc05041280x8514ea.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05041280x8514ea.jpg)
From the second level, Montmartre with la basilique du Sacré-Coeur. From the top of Le Tour Eiffel, it totally vanishes in the city, but at this height, it really towers above the city.

http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/9743/dsc0519851x12806br.th.jpg (http://img104.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0519851x12806br.jpg)http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5512/dsc05311280x8513uz.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05311280x8513uz.jpg)http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/2320/dsc05441280x8512mh.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05441280x8512mh.jpg)
We took the stairs all the way down from the second level, this gives some nice views of the tower itself.

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9832/dsc05321280x8512hq.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05321280x8512hq.jpg)
Again, Montmartre with la basilique du Sacré-Coeur, this time from the first level.

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/1558/dsc05401280x8515dx.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05401280x8515dx.jpg)
Trocadero, with La Défense in the background.

Next stop: La Défense

La Grande Arc de la Défense, exactly twice as high as L'Arc de Triomphe.

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/1397/dsc05501280x8510cr.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05501280x8510cr.jpg)http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9858/dsc05511280x8515ne.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05511280x8515ne.jpg)http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/895/dsc0562851x12802gi.th.jpg (http://img196.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0562851x12802gi.jpg)
Just some shots of this really great building.

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9870/dsc05541280x8512vc.th.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc05541280x8512vc.jpg)
The view from the stairs of La Grande Arc. If you look closely, you can see l'Arc de Triomphe all the way in the back.

http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/1143/dsc0563851x12806an.th.jpg (http://img196.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc0563851x12806an.jpg)
Just some officetower, it does have a strange "Photoshop" kind of feeling over it.

Some views from the roof, the sun went down really quick. Too bad I didn't realize that with a digital camera, you can easily change from ISO 200 to ISO 800 or even 1600 (it was the first time I really used it), and since I didn't have a tripod most pictures in the dark didn't turn out too good :(
