Hello there,

I'm new here and looking for some advise. Does anyone knows what a cuban must do to have a greencard or a work permit in America? I'm living in Belgium for almost 10 years and never had the chance to even visit america for political reasons. I really would like to at least visit this country once in my life time...don't know if this is the rigth place to ask but I think is a good start, any help will be very much appreciated
thanks

alberta

If all you want to do is visit, you don't need a green card. Just come on a tourist visa.

Are you a Belgian citizen? That would help.

As a German citizen I can't see why you'd have the slightest difficulty visiting the U.S.

What "political reasons" are you referring to?

Honestly? The best way to visit America with least hassle is to sneak across the Mexican border.
