Mayor needs help, elect these individuals to the City Council

If your a fan of the Mayor and have followed the city council, you know how much they fight him and have stopped many things he has wanted to pass. If you want to see the Mayor continue to get things done, he needs a army and in my opinion these following City Council Candiates are what he needs and if they are in your district please consider them, they have all been endorsed by him

Patrick Murphy - UES
Joel Zinberg - UES and Roosevelt Island
Phil Foglia - Northeast Bronx, Pelham and Throgs neck area
Patrick Russo - Bay Ride and Bensonhurst Brooklyn
Jody Hall - North Staten Island

Exactly why I can't get behind Bloomberg, despite some of his successes.

Perhaps corporatization of what were formerly public & private spheres is inevitable in this day and age, but it is detrimental to the human experience in the USA, and NYC in particular.

This was the worst slate of candidates EVER. I felt like I was in Russia circa 1974. There really were no choices with all these ridiculous cross endorsements. I voted for two Socialists (including Bernard Goetz for Public Advocate - I love the idea of a Public Advocate who uses a gun to get things done), a Green Party Candidate (Marty Markowitz needs to go home - NOW). Then there were all those judges. Jesus! "Pick Six" it said. Well, there were only SIX to choose from.

What a sad state of a democracy. No choices. POlitical Hacks and Corporate Mouthpieces. Take your pick.

I saw Barack Obama on The Daily Show. I wish he'd move to New York.
