Can anyone give me any information on New York City Borough Manhattan College?
I am considering doing a two year course there and get a assosicates degree, i was wondering if anyone could give me any information regarding the college. I been considering to go to Long Beach or LA but i really do like NYC when i last came there.
Is there any information someone can give me or anyone who has gone there in the past?

I don't know much about BMCC, but if you are just beginning to look at schools, you should note that BMCC is just one of several community colleges within CUNY. Here's a list:

Its not a good school. No serious students/professors. Plus they load you up on a lot of classes you dont need.

I still would like to go and live there but i feel homesickness will be very hard to overcome.
Would it be easy to make friends as i am from a Pakistani/Afghan background too and also would it be better to live in Brooklyn or Queens then Manhattan?
Is there any images of the college which can be seen here? I just want an associates degree.

The few times I have walked through the school building the student body appeared to me to be a real kaleidoscope. I am sure you will have no trouble finding other South Asian students to socialize with. As for the merits or demerits of the school itself, the students probably maintain one or more web boards of their own. Find one of them, and ask the students themselves whether they have been happy with their college experience. Or go visit the school and ask some of them in person. The public is allowed into the building, and there is a cafeteria, if I remember correctly, on the first floor, where you can schmooze with some of the students on a break.
