Hello everybody,

This is my very first post in this forum and I don't really speak english everyday so I hope you'll understand me !

Actually I need your help because I've been looking for months for NY pictures that have the best quality so that I can use them as wallpapers or even develop them on photo paper (for my personal use of course).

I have preferences in places like : Times Squares, Central Park, Brooklyn and Harlem but any other quality pictures would be much appreciated (pictures from the air, artistic photos, pictures of newyorkers, EVERYTHING you think it's good !)

As everybody in here I'm a huge fan of NYC so please don't hesitate and post your best pictures

Thanx in advance for those who will share pix,

Juelz69.

PS : I'll try to find new pictures too (on other sites for example) and post them if I see that everybody else is interested.

Derf, spectacular photos: they reaffirm that NYC is the greatest/most awe-inspiring city on Earth.

I always enjoyed this mid-town panorama by a WiredNewYork member:

Thanks guys....and that panorama is awesome. I live on the Island and do
not get that much time to shoot the city. Here are a few more from Sep 11th
of this year... I hope I do not offend anyone. I went to take the first shot
only and a friend of mine wanted to look around.

Did you use a tilt shift lens to get that "model" effect? Or Photoshop?

Ok, those are just insane! Really great pics.

Here´s another guy (NewYorker2005) who knows what New York is all about over at skyscrapercity.com...http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?p=7335764#post7335764.

In one of those panorama pics in the link, the Orion looks like it's got some kind of lighting near the top facing 42nd St. Is that right or is it just a reflection? And it also looks like Cityspire's crown is no longer lit up.

I guess derf had those photos on an external server. You can post pictures which are already uploaded to an external server by clicking on the image icon which appears on the toolbar above the message text area. Then just enter the URL of the image.

Or you can upload the images as attachments by clicking the "Manage Attachments" button which appears below the message text area. Then just choose a file from your computer.
