I've been unable to access the forums, or any other part of WNY for that matter, in the last couple of days. It is because of server troubles, or just increased traffic?

Me too, I just got back on this morning.
A couple days without WNY and I was fiending like a crackhead ;)

Same here ... methinks any leanings towards OCD have found a focus at WNY.

The server software was upgraded by my hosting company and the server moved to a different hardware node. After that the server could not handle the traffic. At this point the issue is resolved, so if you still have problems please let me know.

Edward -- I haven't been able to connect since Sunday -- just now (Tues. 3/22 ~ 12:45 PM ) is the first time I've been able to access the site ...

Glad to see I can get back into the forum, and that I wasn't the only one who couldn't access it. But it was coming and going for a while, so I hope it's up for good now.

Oy - This is my first contact with the "Inside World" since the March 17th. It was out for me until the posting of this message.

^ Same here, SSP just doesn't cut it in the long run. Addictive indeed. Although while on the wagon, I found gothamist a good site for general NYC information and news.

Thank God! I was asking other forum members that were on SSC if they were able to get on, talk about OCD.

FYI

At 09:10, I submitting a post, and got a "Database Error" message.

The only time this has ever happened was a few instances during the period of the site outages.
