Hi everyone in America. What do you all think of your David Blane, be honest. I think hes great doing what he does, but really, I think the guy is a loon. Watched him on tv the other night being closed in in a glass sphere full of water????? Now come on it was good, but who in the right mind would put themselves through that? I might for a million quid, and thats only a might. Cant wait to see what the loon pot does next!!!;)

Personally, I think he is running out of ways to get some free publicity.

Why doesnt he just get a normal job like the rest of us. I think he got no attention when he was little from his family, and he likes the fuss of the Doctors and Nurses who are around him when he comes out of whatever hes been doing. Is he ok that type of thing, he does it for the attention!

Because "the rest of us" make little money, struggle to pay our bills, and David Blane is a very wealthy guy who dated some of the best looking women one can find in this fine country. Do you want him to be a real estate agent or own a shoe repair store? I think you should talk to David himself about his career choices.

Yes I think David Blane should own a shoe repair store, or be an estate agent why not? I only work in a fashion shop to make ends meet. As I said he does what he does for the attention of the Docs and Nurses and the viewers who watch. I wouldnt lock myself in a glass sphere for days on end for money, theres always your local Social security Office down the road if you are not in PROPER employment.

I'm not in America but I have a view on him. I saw him hanging in a plastic box by Tower Bridge a couple of years ago and, as I stood there with hundreds of other people, it got me thinking. In today's world of computer games, DVDs, iPods etc., he has taken entertainment right back to it's basics. Thousands of people standing watching a man in a box undertaking a feat of endurance. It seems like the sort of thing that would have been going on when the Tower of London was built. I think that's quite inspired.

failing with that water stunt probally ended his career, people will say " but why do this and why do we believe you if you coulndt do the last stunt" I think he has lost his credibility

I like his street magic / sleight-of-hand tricks much more than his high profile "I'm the new Houdini" stunts.
