Question about the Yankees

Is there a difference in atmosphere at the Yankee Stadium depending on the gameday or is it basically the same experience whenever you go?

Thu 7pm
Fri 7pm
Sat 4pm
Sun 1pm

Those are the days I'm choosing between.

Night games are better in the summer. NYC can get really unpleasantly warm outside in the summer.

As for the crowd? I think it is about the same no matter what day/time you go, but on that point I may be wrong...

Definitely go for a night game. Friday night?? Oh, yeah!!!

Pack some food. Get beer at the stadium.

And pray for a game that doesn't go to 14 innings (in which case you could be there til 1AM -- )

Atmosphere also depends largely upon the opponent. If all things are equal, the Friday night game will have the 'liveliest' atmosphere. Weekend day games tend to get more families (in my experience).
