Trip to New York in Late July

Hey all,

I'm looking for a little advice choosing accomadation for a trip to new york. I'm going with a band (Syllian Rayle http://www.RockWithCock.com) amd there'll be six of us. I've had a look at short term rentals and some hotels (including the Chelsea hotel, which I like a lot!). We'll be looking for 9 nights with easy access to the Brooklyn area.

Is there anywhere else you could recommend? Cheap is good!

Six of you can manage well in a Hostel...They are not known for the luxury but very reasonable in price.. Most rooms are in dorm style but since there are six of you, you might just get lucky with dorm room for six...Hey six beds is all you need right, so check it out...If you like Chelsea area, there is a good one at 251 W20th Street, called Chelsea International Hostel...

Chelsea International Hostel has vacancy late July for 6 bed male room or 6 bed female room at $24 per person per night.....

I agree with millenium, I would just go a google search for hostels in chealsea manhatten or whichever section you'd like. Or visit http://www.localapple.com to see if they have hotel and hostel listings.
