Does anyone know a good place for a US fan to watch the games in midtown-east? I've heard Manchester Pub is a good place to watch, primarily for English fans.

I know Hop Devil Grill on St Marks and Ave A will be playing the games. Its not midtown east but they have awesome beers :-) and its not too far.

^ Thanks but I can't take off from work the 3 hours it would take to go to and fro from the EV and watch the game. Although I live near the EV and thats a good option for weekend games for me.

TonyO - I have seen a few lists of bars for the worldcup, which have been broken down by neighborhood and teams (I will post links below). Unfortunately most of them seem a little bit out of your way depending how far you want to venture. And yes - Manchester pub gets listed for the English fans.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do for Monday's game. I might have a 'doctor's appointment.'

McCormack's Pub at 365 Third Avenue (26th Street) is a popular place for soccer fans and it is right near "hospital row" (NYU Medical Center, Bellevue, and VA Center, all on First Avenue).
