How easy/difficult is it to get a part time (afternoons) job in Manhattan?

It depends on what you want to do.

Honestly, i'd prefer something in the clerical/data entry/telemarketing field.
i'm a teacher by day and need extra money at night and would rather not do floor sales.

If you have good computer skills you can get all sorts of work on night / midnight shifts (for Financial / Legal Corps.).

In NYC, you don't look for an apartment you like, you look for a place you can live. If you can't do that, you probably shouldn't be here.
