OK, so as a formal announcement to all the folks here at Wired New York who have decided to use the blog feature...

I am the blog moderator.

First off, familiarize yourselves with this. For the most part, the same rules shall apply here in blogland as in the forum. Some important rules are listed below (with my moderation attitude parenthetically).

- When creating a new post, have a meaningful and descriptive subject line (or one that is catchy, pithy and/or engaging).

- Use English language. Non-English posts or sentences would be deleted. (There are some exceptions obviously, phrases and mottoes come to mind, laissez faire for instance).

- Use proper grammar. A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a period (unless you wish to appear an idiot. I am not the grammar police).

- The use of foul language in the blogs is not allowed (especially in blog titles. Posts and comments may be forgivingly overlooked up to a point. Don't try to find that point).

- No commercial messages of any kind, or advertisements are allowed. If you are unsure whether your post is appropriate, please contact one of the moderators. Inappropriate messages would be deleted without notification. (Posts such as this will be allowed if your interest in the product or its promotion is not fiduciary).

We're all making this up as we go along.
As in the words of Gandhi-

Freedom is not worth having if it does not connote freedom to err.

But let us be mindful of Cicero's axiom-

To err is human, but to persevere in error is only the act of a fool.
