Well this is a dated and disappointing design.
#1 Open the grid! I thought we learned that lesson already.
#2 The least they can do is give us better cladding and cut off the tumors. I know...
So what exactly is the PATH barge crane working on in the Hudson?
At least more interesting than what was there..
Let's just hope that Tower 3 actually delivers a lighting scheme unlike the NYT Tower.
This one should take off now that they are onto the standard office floors. Exciting!
It makes you wonder what is stopping them from installing the planned solar panels on the roof. But if the building skimped on the christmas decorations last year then chances are they aren't going...
This idea is what's wrong with New York City. It's one thing to resist any change in suburbia but not in a dynamic and ever changing city such as this. There is a sense of entitlement to resist...
I guess what I should have said is.. Build if you can get the funds together.
In response to Mr. Nocera's Times article, the same was said about the original World Trade Center towers. it wasn't until the 80's that they were a financial success. Also the original twin towers...
I searched the past pages of this thread for a rendering.. does one exist yet?

Barnes & Noble closed??? I hope they use that block to build something great. Residential with commercial space on the ground floor. I always thought it was a waste of such a prime location, being...
This one is just gross.
I thinks what's great about this design is that there is some actual detailing in the facade; which doesn't come across as dated but modern. Modern while still classic and tasteful.
I think this...
This is long overdue.
Also I don't buy this more roadways more people driving crap. Here in NJ if you can avoid driving you do it. 95 is the main roadway through the state. If your driving to...
Pineapple Express on Aug. 19th
Not the 12th
typo on the Pier 54 site
I hope the Journey's store comes back.
I know it'll never happen but it would be amazing to have Chelsea Piers restored to its original state.
If anything at least the stone facade.
Does anyone know if the original stone still...
:D Me likey!
What's the big deal with renaming it?
Of course we will still call it the Triborough!
This was a nice gesture to a historic man which future generations, who use this bridge, will remember.
Lets hope they don't plan on using "that" type of glass. It looks like something out of the 60's; black glass.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth!
Although blue is getting...
