that's frickin beatiful.
Once the new Javitz CC has their greenroof, I think that will be a HUGE catalyst for more... Let's hope!
Obviously the fans will adjust to wherever there team plays. If if is relocated to the proposed spot near Javitz, then there will NOT be huge SUVS and trucks tailgating. There may be a few, but...
unfortunately, no. :(
Thought y'all would like a sweet deal...

I love it! sooo glad this is real!
WHat is the historic significance of the current station. It seems like a lot would be lost with it being totally upgraded. That said, I am in favor of the new streamlined design. What do you guys...
Not a box? Looks pretty normal to me--even if it does have that curved side. Not much more architectural greatness than a supersized suburban office park building.
I'm glad they ended up chooses a more transparent glass--it gives it more personality than anything more mirror-like would have.
ok guys, let's just keep this pleasant. I don't like having to scroll through pages of twp people's silly back and forth.
thanks zippy.
hey at least the "trailer folk" know how to adaptively reuse an old building...
Wow, this looks so great. I have been to Foster's "gherkin" Swiss Re in London and was dissapointed that I wasn't allowed in any further than the lobby--so I hope we are at Least allowed in that...
the picture is good because it shows how awful the addition to the great historic original is... If they restore it surely they will knock that half off!
I'm not going to go against the very people that Live there and don't want to see it overdeveloped just for a so-so building by an architect with a famous name. I'm surprised at his lack of...
please--I dont want to see any more added to this list!!!
I Love it! Adaptive reuse of great old buildings (and usually even of not so great buildings, as long as they're old) is one of the best forms of urban renewal and adds soooo much to communities. ...
What's the word on if there is a green roof planned for the convention center...that is what it appears to have in the picture. If so, amazing!
is that a solar roof I see?
I love the new entrance--very refined and elegant. It is a great example of how to spice up some of the less interesting big box towers!
You're right Zippy. That would have been better.

I like his design for the Malmö, Sweden apartment tower. Much more sculpted and beautiful.
Looks like a radio tower...needs a lot of refining.
Well it's silly arguing with someone who obviously knows nothing about these issues. Providing through roads and making transit more patterned and giving cars more options once they are already in...
What's ridiculous is the idea of rebuilding the WTC as it originally was. Why try to redo a bad plan to begin with. Also, windmills etc are very good things. They make it so that buildings, which...
