Citigroup rebrands as Citi; agrees sale of umbrella logo
Citigroup today announced a corporate branding change that unites its businesses under the well-known "Citi" name and its recognizable red...
Does anyone know the footprint size and the number of stories planned for this building? Also, what is the fate of the small street (Shevchenko St.) that runs to the side of it.
What do you think? The building of course. Cooper Union School of Engineering.

The most exciting part about this project is that the new building will give Cooper Union enough space to allow them to raze this monstrosity.
It's the floor plan more so than anything else. Can't really accomodate all those traders in a tower like that. So how do you strike a balance between commerce, without which tall buildings would be...
does anyone have the original plans for this building?
I think it's tacky and lacks a coherent thread; and also, it ages as we breathe. Not to mention it has a mausoleum-type atmosphere on the inside. Sort of like the Lenin Mausoleum but only white. But...
Here's one from the top

I guess not, I screwed this up somewhere. But I'll be trying.

How do you guys attach images?
What's there right now, anyone have pictures?
"But the project is so vast and prominently situated that it is its own context: therefore the architecture needs to be more assertive and well-defined."
* I absolutely agree. Any building, not...
Naturally you can't look at these buildings individually, it's the project as a whole that needs to be judged. And frankly I think it's not too bad.
does anyone have the original renderings of this buildings
what's next in architecture? i mean there was stone in the '30's, steel in the sixties, now there's glass. what do you think will the future skyscraper look like?
does anyone have any pictures of these?
now why can't they propose something like that for the Jets and New York Olympics?
it's a remarkable building (love the marble facade) and it should not be touched,
make it "usable" on the inside, otherwise leave it as it is
it's better than what they've got right now
The issue is not about moving the ball anywhere; it's about appreciating what you’ve got. It’s about creating a homeostasis between the old and the new. It’s about controlling your narcissictic...
They should restore it to its original condition. There's enough room in the area to move current billboards of 1 Times Square to other buildings; if it's imperative that the Times Square remain the...
wow, it really changed (lol); but does it still have that original skin and if so, why did they ever cover up such beautiful building with bilboards and advertisements?
what happened to this building? is it still around?

Forgive me for my naivete but could someone define NYMBIE for me.
…nonetheless, it'd be a perfect spot for a 1000 footer, on top of what already is probably around 300 ft.. Yes I can image a sleek, black, Forster style addition to that building, beautiful.
