If you were slow, then you blow--they're sold out. Unless you can score an extra at the door on bout night, forget about it.

I've passed through it in cab rides going down linden blvd from JFK and I guess I did miss them. They must be hiding.
Will the hipsters and the artists go for living in east new york? No rock clubs, coffee shops, thai restaurants, and brewpubs over there.:p
As a native brooklynite, I'm very much in agreement. I would add east flatbush as well-next door to crown heights-not quite as crime ridden as CH, but still a grimy area. I passed thorough East...

Back in the day, being a visitor to the neighborhood was enough to bring out the racism in the residents.
At a hs reunion a few years ago, I discovered that some of the people who grew up there...

The neighborhoods of Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst, going all the way back to the 70's from my recollection, have always had a special hatred for black people. The white ethnic enclaves in the outer...
If I have the time, I will do so. But I can say for sure that east flatbush from what I saw last year was about the same as it was in the 80's.
My question too:D. Or east flatbush for that matter. They're starting to colonize bushwick, so maybe anything is possible. Open up a few rock clubs and espresso bars and its a done deal.
I intend to see a little bit more of brooklyn on my next visit.
Wonder why the french immigrants aren't setting up shop in east ny, east flatbush, and bed sty? Obviously, they are...
I come back to nyc regularly, but I haven't been to midwood since the 80's. I tend to hang in manhattan.
And as for the last remark, I intended no offense against the hasidim, just a little...
Flatbush near brooklyn college isn't that bad, but east flatbush is very dirty. Midwood was ok the last time I visited-mid 80's. Ocean pky and Mill Basin, nice areas. Bed Sty has blocks that are nice...
Having grown up in Brooklyn.....I'm very much in agreement. True points about seattle despite its lack of racial and ethnic diversity.
