Not my favorite Downtown building to say the least, but it was very innovative at the time. It holds a good amount historical significance and is deserving of this status in my opinion.
I can't help but think that the East Village buildings were Landmarked to protect them from NYU.

I like the idea of restoring the statues, that Holley statues's dedication had almost become unreadable. The fountain, maybe I'll get used to once it gets redone.
But why kill all those trees??

How was your experience? How was the exam? How'd you do?
I know there are other threads dealing with this subject matter on here, but I'd really like to know why Yankee Stadium isn't Landmarked. Has there been any debate at all within the LPC to Landmark...
Eighth Avenue, such an underappreciated thoroughfare. And it's in danger of losing one of it's architechtural gems, The Playpen, which began as the Ideal Theatre, and is at 44th and Eighth on the...

My wife and I after a great meal at a great restaurant in Providence, RI.
New York is what everyone and everything else strives to be. It surrounds you and envelopes you, and has it's way with you. Yes, there are times that it chews you up and spits you out, but in the...

Try Bond 45 for a good Times Square restaurant. It's in an historic building and boasts some great Italian and seafood.
It's a team policy. No Yankee can have a beard, only a small moustache. The policy also forbids excessively long hair.
I agree with Ninja
I wish I could.:p
