How to build a station in a week - this is a new station on the Thameslink route at Mitcham Eastfields. Pics by Rolyatam

New tower for Croydon - a real boom town at the moment. With East Croydon Station (on the main Brighton Line for services to Brighton and London Gatwick Airport), West Croydon Station (future most southern terminus of the East London Line) and the Tram (runs through the centre with future extensions planned) - Croydon is becoming a major hub aiming to rival other Outer London boroughs.
This new tower would be built over a re-built Whitgift Centre - height around 250m.

Jones Lang LaSalle conducted a study, but forum member Shaun at SSC has placed overlays showing the intense development that will be taking place in the coming years.

r-g-b has taken some demolition pictures of PWC's old HQ which will be replaced by the London Bridge Tower. The vast brick structure to the right is London Bridge Station - the world's oldest train terminus (coming up to its 175th anniversary) - part of this station is to be re-built as a brand new terminus

The Heron Tower - Pictures taken by cstubbies from atop T42. This tower is located across the road from London Liverpool Street
