Default Gas and Coal usage for commercial purposes

Hi...need to know if natural gas supply and coal (for a BBQ grill) is available throughout the city for commercial purposes? Want to open a restaurant and need to do some homework before coming over

Gas is available. In Brooklyn, it is supplied by National Grid.

Coal... I'm not sure.
