Very hansom building. A thumbs up for the Brompton.
A thin (and flat) masonry curtain wall with big oversized windows. This is a good way to go, especially for residential buildings, in an urban setting: ample natural light / views for the interior & and a handsomly ‘textured’ look on the outside.
I like all the preware brick buildings in NYC because they have a beautiful façade like the Brompton here; but the interiors are often dark with limited views due not only to the smaller size of the windows in general – but also due to the sheer thickness ot the rusticated masonry curtain wall.
It so obvious that this building type is better, literally 'inside & out': yet they still keep building most new residentail buildings with all-glass curtain walls. Go figure.
