The Brompton

While it's not completely perfect, this building nonetheless is so delectable -- almost like Kate Winslett's inner thigh.

Very hansom building. A thumbs up for the Brompton.

A thin (and flat) masonry curtain wall with big oversized windows. This is a good way to go, especially for residential buildings, in an urban setting: ample natural light / views for the interior & and a handsomly ‘textured’ look on the outside.

I like all the preware brick buildings in NYC because they have a beautiful façade like the Brompton here; but the interiors are often dark with limited views due not only to the smaller size of the windows in general – but also due to the sheer thickness ot the rusticated masonry curtain wall.

It so obvious that this building type is better, literally 'inside & out': yet they still keep building most new residentail buildings with all-glass curtain walls. Go figure.

This building is awesome! Hopefully, they'll raze that crap movie theatre next and the crappy buildings on the north side of 86th where the Papaya King is.
