Thanks for posting it. It's an okay building. It would be awesome for 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the 20's or 30's but is simply decent in this location. R AM Stern's building will probably be a lot nicer.

Anyway, it's a shame they razed all those nice buildings for something this short. If we're going to lose them, we might as well get something larger (at least 10 more stories).
Thanks for the photos jennicak. There's a 210' height limit in this area, which is why all these top out at 20 stories. So in order to get more sq. ft. more buildings must come down. The zoning rules in this city are retarded and the community will always end up blaming the "greedy developers."
I've either got to get out of this city or just become oblivious to what's going up.

Precisely, and in the future in order to meet more demand for new condos, they're gonna have to raze more walk-ups elsewhere when they could've build more of them here instead.
Common sense just tells you that if you allow them to build higher (meaning get more units built on one site) they wouldn't have to go elsewhere to build to meet the demand for new units.
Therefore, upzoning actually preserves the character of the neighborhood more than downzoning. I know that is hard for the NIMBY mind to grasp but that is the truth.
I've been singing that tune^ for quite a while now. Maybe it's finally starting to catch on.
