Default Why aren't there more women on this forum?

My impression is the great majority of us are men. Why is that?

They are too busy trying to save the world and our children from total annihilation due to the primarily white male leaders dragging us from war to war, fixated on weaponry, power and control the way teen boys are fixated on their penises.

Thanks for the laughs, fellas. I always knew Zippy had many sides to him.

But getting back to the question: does it really matter so much? I mean, I can understand the whole masculine-supertall-testosterone connection. Add to that the fact that architecture (especially the more famous, starchitecture subset) is still largely dominated by men, and I'm not surprised at all. Maybe we should do a survey. I know Curbed did one a little while ago.
If we are supposed to be anonymous online, then how else would you tell whether the person writing a post is a man or a woman? For instance, could I be a woman, assuming my username was merely an homage to Billy Joel? What gives it away?

Now I thought Billy Joel, but I'm sure some thought Renzo Piano.

It's neither: I play the instrument. Though "Pianoman" is one of my favorite Billy Joel songs, and I do like Renzo Piano.

Is the WiredNY URL located above 96th Street? I know that's no place for a lady.
