    Moderation filter working very well. Of 87 spam threads opened overnight, only 4 got through to the forum.

    A high percentage of the spam posts are about Uggs. Many of the user names are Uggs-something.

    Are these things still popular? I hardly ever see them; and when I do, it's either a woman saying "I don't want to hook up with anybody" or "I'm so gorgeous, I can get away with wearing these fugly things."

    Apparently, the Anti-Spam software agrees; it filters out almost all the uggs posts.

    I will have to look. The fuzzy-Uggs are out everywhere (unless I am mistaking them for another brand0, but the sandals.... I almost never see them (except on in-laws... MAN they are fugly.).

    The Ugg store in SoHo (on Mercer between Spring & Broome) often has a line out the door. Even in bad weather. Out of towners all aspiring to the Bedrock look.

    Go figure.

    They could at least aim for something more attractive ...
