On Tues. August 8th (last night) @ around 8-8:30pm the E & F trains from Continental Ave to points east was shut down, and there was an abundance of FDNY & NYPD in front of the Queens Courthouse on Queens Blvd & Union Trpk. I heard on 1010 WINS around that time that the E & F trains were not running due to "police activity."

Anyone know what was going on? Saw nothing on the news, in the paper, or on the radio... curious.
