Great photos, all three sets. Did you enjoy your trip? I see you went when it was very hot out. What did you think of New York?

The trip was superb. We all loved New York and New Yorkers - very friendly people. Doing a lot of walking in 95-100 degree heat was very tiring, so we probably didn't get around as much as we had hoped, but this didn't spoil our enjoyment. There's so much to see and do. I'm interested in architecture so I could have just walked around the streets for 10 days looking at buildings. Central Park is special. I know it's just a park and we have loads of them here but there's something special about it. We made a point of going at the weekend so we could see what New Yorkers get up to at the weekend in the park. We're already thinking about a return trip, although financial constraints mean that it won't be in a couple of months as we would like, more likely a few years. We will definitely return sometime though.

Great pics....I have never taken pics of the city....I visit every year and for the life of me, I don't know why I don't....this year I got a new Canon Rebel XT Digital camera so maybe I will....

Believe it or not, NYC is the only place I can completely relax ....I walk and walk and find interesting places to visit, interesting people, who have come to live in NYC from all over the world, to talk to....Often times I buy a book....get a cup of coffee, go to a park and read, sometimes in the sun and sometimes in the shade....I like to people watch....there isn't a better place, in this whole world to people watch, than the city....people compare NYC with the United Nations, I agree....the other extreme is taking a subway or going to a broadway play....if you want some rural time, you take a train and walla, that happens....nothin but cool....

The beauty, for me, is that I do not know anyone.... If I decide I don't want to interact with someone I don't....noone is ever pushy in this regard....gotta love it and I do....

I thought this could be my only visit, or at least the last for some time, so I wanted to preserve some memories. I guess, if you're going every year, you don't have the same need. One thing I regret about my pictures is that I didn't take many of run of the mill street scenes - people, houses, shops, restaurants, baseball in the park etc. Luckily, we decided we will definitely be returning sometmie soon, so I can rectify that.

Great set of photos - nothing to do with NYC could be 'boring'!
    Thanks for sharing.

Isn't it frustrating that you can't get back soon?
    I am exactly the same.
Very fortunate to have visited three times (since 2001), but am always yearning to return sooner rather than later.

I hope you make it back again sooner than expected - please take your camera!
