Tower 4. I picked this building to do first because I figured it'd be the easiest. Well, I was horribly wrong. All those angles were huge PITA's.

Beginning work on 3WTC, with ESB for reference

Wow.... The one with the ESB...wow. I was not a fan of #3 until I got a scale of how big it is.

STR's renderings look better than Maki's official release.

Work on Tower 3 continues. Next chance I have to work on this will be Monday. I might be able to finish it then.

Those renderings of 3 WTC make me remember how fat the trade towers really were.

STR... with the new release of 200 Greenwich (Tower 2, is it?):

Does it look like an especially painful PITA? They have to be at really exact angles to form that "Wedge of Light"... But the bright side is, after pitas are completed, they're light, satisfying, and delicious.

Honestly, after all the odd angles of Tower 4, I think 2WTC would have been an easier start.

i hate to ask, but as silverstein and co has not provided a render from the north looking south, once you finish the complex, could you show that view please? and from the east river? thanks so much.

I'll have all the angles covered. You'll even have some VR stuff. 360x360 degree panos from, like this one (http://skyscrapermodels.us/pics/wtc2_m.mov -requires quicktime), except from say, Fulton and Grenwich.

Tower 3 update. I'll be done with it in less than 24 hours.

Your work on the X bracing is fantastic !!! Congrats and thanks ...

And I only can hope that Rogers' building itself will have the lightness that you're showing here -- rather than heavier earthbound x-beams as seen on buildings such as the Hancock in Chicago ...
