    I agree, Krull.

    Also, the old proposal had a sloped roof, whereas the new one simply seems to be a flat-roofed box. POS.

    Hey Derek, where'd you find all these new renderings? Looks like this one went through a budget cut, that's for sure.

    Oh my, what a turn for the worst. The original was not only cool looking but was far more attractive.

    What the hell are the developer thinking? How much are you really going to save by doing this and is it really worth it in the end because nicer buildings will have higher resale value.

    Buildings are like investments, you may put up more now but get more in return later. For instance, you pay more for a Rolex watch up front versus a Seiko but in the long run, the Rolex will be worth more.

    so that is what is going up across the street from my office? (on the other side we have the new diamond district tower). they have been jackhammering for a few weeks. it should start to rise early next year.

    I read that this building's skin will be white aluminum. It sounds like it will be real crap. I can't believe that it took not one -- but rather ten -- architectos to fathon this lame building.
