Nationwide Call for Candlelight Vigils on September 21
http://www.declarationofpeace.org/ The Declaration of Peace campaign invites communities around the nation to hold candlelight vigils to mark the kick off of the Declaration of Peace week of action on Thursday, September 21 — the International Day of Peace. Many communities have already scheduled vigils. Visit our Vigils Calendar to see if a vigil is planned near you. If you do not see a Declaration of Peace vigil in your community, consider organizing your own vigil. Search the Local Organizer Directory to see if there is a group with which you can collaborate. Read the Guidelines for Vigil Organizers for ideas on how to plan a successful candlelight vigil in your community.
