On October 5, people everywhere will walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns & townsquares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to join us - making a powerful statement:

"NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!"

October 5 THURSDAY MORNING: High School and College Walk-Outs -- Leave work early or stay out. Bring your whole school, go to other schools - as you make your way down to Dag Hammerskjold Plaza.

4PM & into the evening: Mass convergence at Union Square that will show the world the breadth and determination of this movement, setting new terms for debate and discussion in society. Featuring prominent speakers and performers demanding and giving evidence to charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity at the hands of this regime.

Union Square must become (culimating and raising to a new, vibrant level on Oct 5) a hhub for those looking to be part of this movement and we will give life to this vision on Oct 5, all day and all night, with performances of resistance, testimony by victims of the Bush Regime, and by those in resistance against it - giving life to a determined culture & community of resistance, and anchor for this movement to bring this to a halt!

Bloggers & videographers: come ready to broadcast and podcast to the world from the vigil grounds round-the-clock. As the night unfolds, people will talk, debate, create music and art, and work together on visions and plans for driving out the Bush Regime and reversing the whole direction it has been taking the country and the world.
