Default Christmas in New York photos

Hey everybody, I'm a wannabe NYCer who lives in the Buffalo area. We used to live about 40 minutes from the city in a little town called Wilton, CT but we moved. I'll be back when I'm 18 though. Anyway, does anybody have any Christmas time photos of NYC with lights and snow and stuff like that? Can you please post them? I need to get in the Christmas spirit because there's nothing else to do out here. Right across the street from our house is an empty field. Buffalo's 25 miles away and we're in the middle of nowhere. I'm SO BORED and NYC pics always make me happy. I could spend all day looking at one NYC picture.

There are 18 threads with "Christmas" in the title, and 7 with "snow" in the title. You will be less bored when you used the 'Search' function.

If y'all get the chance go and check out the "Dance of the Snowflakes" show on the west facade of the old Saks Fifth Avenue building (across fom the tree at Rock Center) ...

But you have to go after dark:

It's got zillions of lights, all computerized and timed to music that blasts out across the Avenue.

Saks Fifth Avenue To Unveil Holiday Windows And Snowflake Light Show

    Press Release

    yahoo.com
    Source: Saks Fifth Avenue
    Monday November 20

Saks Fifth Avenue will premiere its new holiday snowflake spectacle at their flagship Fifth Avenue store at 6:30pm on Monday, November 20th, 2006. The centerpiece of the event will be a high-tech snowflake LED-light show choreographed to a modern version of "Carol of the Bells."

... The snowflake LED-light show which features 50 unique snowflakes reaching 10 stories high, was created in collaboration with Philips Electronics. After the event, Fifth Avenue shoppers will be treated to encore performances every evening through December 31 ...

Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday 2006 Facts:

    -- PHILIPS ELECTRONICS LED SNOWFLAKES
    * 50 fully programmable, unique snowflakes reaching ten stories high (36-8'-0"; 14-20'-0") inspired by William "Snowflake" Bentley's snowflake photos from the 1920's.
    * The project required 40,440 LED modules, strung at a length of 13,480 ft., or 2.55 miles, to cover 36 eight- foot diameter and 14 twenty-foot diameter snowflakes.
    * The bright LED lights used to illuminate all 50 snowflakes consume only 2600W -- the energy equivalency of only three toaster ovens.
