Thread: 8th avenue and W.26th St development plans?

Default 8th avenue and W.26th St development plans?

there seems to be a big L shape lot (currently parking) on the corner of w26th and 8th ave, that is awaiting development (not the actual apex of the corner, but the L going around it).

I'm considering an apt near there, but its view would be affected by that development, maybe, depending on its height.

any ideas where to find plans/ applications?

    tia,

The addresses for that L-shaped parking lot (entrances on both 8th Ave. and 26 St.) is 318 Eighth Ave. and 252 W. 26 St.

It is at the SE corner of that intersection.

Checked the DOB and there's nothing showing for those two addresses.

I don't think that lot is awaiting development. They put up the scaffolding because the building that is there had some structural problems. I remember a whole lot of police cars blocked off that area on Halloween night because, according to one policeman, the building was in danger of falling down or something like that. So, I don't think your views would be obstructed in the near future.
