That descirption ^^^ of Sky House is pure PR & utter BS --

To say that SH “gracefully responds to its surroundings" is a complete lie, as is evident to anyone who walks around that block.

Those assessments are all subjective: aesthetics is not an either/or proposition.
Once the raw concrete is finished it will look lovely: but that's just me.

p.s. that guy on your avatar is one ugly mug.

Any owner's of Alchemy's other developments out there? Anyone have any thougths on their reputation/finished product/attention to detail?

Alchemy is one of the larger "medium-size" developers. They are able to sell condos fairly quickly by slightly underpricing the market. Having purchased in their Lionshead development, I can say that they are pretty responsive when it comes to getting things corrected, and are generally sticklers for detail.

Any update on the Oculus Condo? The website says "May 2008 occupancy" - does this seam realistic?

On a price per square foot basis, this building looks like a steal.

Anyone know the status of this place? Have they started closing yet and how do the apartments look?

I pass by this ony my way to work everyday and I think it looks great. I doubt the brise soleil does much shading, but it does a nice job of tying the building into the streetwall.

Hi. Exception use of the term brise soleil. Anyone know how the interior of the apartments turned out?

My broker told me this building is now 90% sold and looking great finished (finally). I believe people are moving in as soon as first week in November. I will post again once I've seen inside.

Well, how does it look on the inside? From the outside, it looks very interesting, impressive.
